This June, the international Paris Air Show celebrates it’s 100th anniversary. The first show was held in Grand Palais, Paris in 1909. It wasn’t until 1949 before the first flying displays occurred. Only 4 years after, the show had to move to La Bourget, where it is now hosted every two years.
Why is the Paris Air Show considered the world’s premier aerospace event? Well, over 150,000 trade visitors should be enough of areаson for any exhibitor to reserve space on the exhibition grounds at La Bourget. In fact, some 2,000 exhibitors participated in 2007 and those looking to book some space for 2009 should better try in 2011, since the fair grounds are now officially sold.
The International Paris Air Show is the perfect opportunity for industry leaders and subcontractors to present their new products and services. More than 3,500 journalist passes are granted, so every exhibitor will get the attention deserved. The industry changes rapidly and each edition of the event is a milestone.
Finding accommodation for the event is somewhat challenging and if you are looking for a decent hotel, suiting your business need, you can contact us, or book directly.
