Marmomacc is the global showcase of stone materials and machinery. With more than 1,500 exhibitors from 53 countries attracted over 53,000 trade visitors — including 24,000 foreign visitors from 100 countries, Verona Exhibition Centre will be a very busy place throughout the duration of the show from 29th Sept to 2 Oct.
The same stands true for all hotels within 20 km from the venue. It can cost up to a few hundred euro per night to stay at a good business class hotel in the city. Budget options may not be much cheaper as three-star hotels usually become sold out first.
If a longer stay is an option for you, Verona is usefully located for travel to Venice or for the lovely Lake Garda (just 20 min by train) – it’s worth to stay a couple of days after the show to make out the most of your business trip. There is a lot to see in this part of Italy, and it is easy to travel around by public transport.
