Tags: , , , , , ,

Right at the beginning of the new business year, the world’s leading trade fair Christmasworld presents the trends and innovations for all festivities of the year – from Christmas, New Year and St. Valentine’s Day to Easter, summer parties and Halloween.

At Christmasworld 2010 976 exhibitors from 36 countries attracted more than 30,000 visitors from 106 countries with a wide range of products, ideas and innovations.

Participating or visiting this show, enables you to be one step ahead of the competition and take more clients from the market, so attending Christmasworld 2011 is a must for all in the industry.

With 30 to 50  fairs annually, Frankfurt is the main conference and convention city in Germany. Therefore, hotels are fully booked most of the year and visitors are recommended to make reservations well in advance. This applies especially for January, when three leading trade fairs – Paperworld, Christmasworld and Beautyworld – are held together.

ITB Asia 2010 included exhibition pavilions for small and medium-sized enterprises providing travel services. Exhibitors from every sector of the industry – airlines, hotels, theme parks, tour operators, cruise lines, meeting facilities and travel technology companies attended.

After the success in Asia, ITB returns to Berlin in March 2011 to once again prove that this is the leading B2B-Platform of all tourism industry offers.

Ambiente 2011 Hotel Accommodation

With over 4,300 exhibitors Ambiente is not just the largest consumer goods trade fair in the world; it also offers a complete spectrum of individuals, decision makers, themes, products and concepts from various different sectors. The trade audience at Ambiente also has a strong international profile. Almost half the visitors to Frankfurt come from outside Germany – from New Zealand to Canada and from Chile to Russia. More than 135 000 visitors are expected at next year’s edition in February 2011.

The city of Frankfurt is unable to adequately offer housing for all attendees. A large number of hotels are clustered close to the exhibition grounds; however, they offer no more than 4,000 rooms, number sufficient only for a small portion of all visitors requiring rooms. Companies who have not confirmed hotel reservations for their staffs need to do so as soon as possible. The prices rise dramatically – lodging within walking distance to the Messe or the main train station starts from 250 EUR per night. Smart bookers on a budget often prefer taking advantage of the well-organized S-Bahn and U-Bahn network and book hotels within convenient travelling distance. Neighboring towns such as Offenbach, Wiesbaden or Hanau are easily accessible and they offer low-price accommodation compared to the inflated prices in Frankfurt.
