More than 48,000 people from 140 countries will attend IBC 2011, including over 1,000 members of the media. 13 themed Halls containing the latest advances from leading brands is not all IBC is offering. Participating in the exciting activities IBC has on offer is a must: the IBC Connected World, the IBC Production Village, the 3D demonstrations at the impressive IBC Big Screen and of course the gala event – IBC Awards.

Registration for IBC 2011 is now open, so is the reservation for hotel accommodation. Keep in mind that Amsterdam is known to be very busy during IBC and it is highly recommended to book your hotel well in advance.

From 9 till 14 September 2010 RAI will be home for companies showcasing the latest technology and foremost business ideas in broadcasting and new media – business will be done, technologies will be launched and industry issues will be debated.

What will make IBC 2010 a unique experience?

Future Media Concepts (FMC) will bring its world-class training methodology to the industry’s pre-eminent broadcasting event – 2-day course will be lead by FMC’s industry certified instructors offering advanced technical training for editors, producers and directors on today’s most popular applications and will be held from 11 – 12 September at the RAI, Amsterdam.

With 2010 a big year for sport and sports broadcasting, the IBC2010 conference is dedicating a full day to the topic. – Saturday 11 Sept. Manolo Romero (managing director of Olympic Broadcasting Services and the 2010 recipient of the IBC International Honor for Excellence) will appear in a session with Roger Mosey, the BBC executive responsible for coverage of the London 2012 Olympics.

Monday 13 September will be a 3D day in the conference – for every visitor to IBC there is a chance to experience the very best of digital 3D, with a series of screenings of movies and television content, free for all, in the IBC Big Screen.
